Except, the guys still might kill him. I think it depends on whether you are truly attached to Brian. Does everyone who goes to prom have a date? I think it's kind of a bigger deal to have a date in the States than it is here...which is probably a good thing for me, because I don't think I'd ever get one! Plus, our proms aren't really as big as deal (though I'm totally jealous that yours are.)
